Aid watch would like to thank ATD Quart Monde for its cooperation. The history part of this description was completely reviewed thanks to Mr Thierry Viard, executive secretary of ATD Quart Monde, in an e-mail dated April 22nd 2003. Aid Watch had also noted that:
-1977, France: ATD Quart Monde conducts a survey on illiteracy in the army, with the agreement of Yvon Bourges, the Minister of Defence. On the 1st of January 1978, the charity also organizes president Valery Giscard d’Estaing and his wife’s Christmas supper in a deprived family called Macaud.
