-This text was written after some interviews with the assistant manager of the AHF, Monsur al-Kadi, in Riyadh in March 1998, and various employees of the Foundation in Kenya in 1997, Somalia in 1999 and the Comoros in 2002. Despite the usual methodology of AidWatch, however, it could not be discussed with officials of the organization.
